Deadline to Apply: March 22
The Lab on Santa Fe invites artists to submit work for The Unknown, an exhibition exploring the mysterious territory between belief and uncertainty. This open call welcomes artists working in all mediums who are drawn to spiritual questions, intuitive processes, and the moments where meaning cannot be fully explained.
The exhibition embraces the idea that doubt is just as essential as faith. The unknown is not something to be solved, but something to stand inside of—to feel, question, and approach from multiple directions. Works may engage with the mystical, the philosophical, the subconscious, or the quiet spaces where certainty falls away.
Political artists are also welcome to apply. In a moment where certainty is often demanded, The Unknown invites work that wrestles with complexity, contradiction, and the limits of what we can claim to know.
The Unknown invites artists to explore the tension between knowing and not knowing, reverence and skepticism, clarity and mystery.
